Cinegears 1-601 T20 Extra Thick Motor Gear (0.8) is 3x thicker than the standard gear, which provides extra traction for stiff lenses and longer contact with lenses that change size, causing their gear position to change. The gear is made from aluminium with a chrome-plated stainless steel mounting face.
Most cine-style lenses use aluminium lens gears, and the aluminium gear teeth are unlikely to be damaged as a plastic gear may when driving a lens. The chrome-plated stainless steel mounting face is extremely hard and matches the construction of your Cinegears motor drive, so it won't strip under torque.
