Description
The Comica Audio CVM-V30-LITE-R On-Camera Directional Shotgun Microphone (Red) is a lightweight microphone that provides high-quality audio recording to your camcorder, DSLR camera, or smartphone. It uses a supercardioid polar pattern to attenuate sounds from the sides, which helps when shooting in noisy environments or at moderate distances.
It weighs 51g for a lightweight camera setup, making it ideal for handheld shooting. It features an integrated shockmount for isolation from bumps and vibration. The CVM-V30-LITE-R offers battery-free operation, using the plug-in power from your camera’s 3.5mm microphone input and it includes a low-cut filter to avoid low-frequency noise caused by wind or camera shake.
The CVM-V30-LITE-R has an integrated shoemount with a 3/8″ thread for additional mounting options. The body of the microphone includes a toggle switch which allows you to choose between DSLR or smartphones. A foam windshield and 20cm dual mono 3.5mm coiled output cable are included.
