The Cort MBM-1 Meta Series Matthew Bellamy Signature Guitar (Starlight Silver) is equipped with pickups developed by Manson Guitar Works especially for this guitar. The versatile setup includes fully voiced humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions reflecting the layout of several of Bellamy’s stage and studio custom instruments.
The body shape is 100% MB signature and available in the ever-popular Satin Black or a new Starlight Silver finish. A new humbucking neck pickup offers a fuller neck voicing to more closely match the raw and powerful sounding bridge humbucker pickup. A kill-button allows stutter style effects.
Hardware is chrome finished and feature laden with staggered locking tuners for quick string changes and the elimination of a traditional string tree.
The basswood body combines light weight with a neutral tonal balance. The bolt-on neck design features a hard maple construction with a jotoba fingerboard. The satin finish neck feels played in from day one and features a compound radius and a soft V profile.
