The ELX118 from Electro-Voice is a passive subwoofer that offers pro-quality bass reinforcement, and is an ideal companion for full-range loudspeakers such as the ELX112 and ELX115. The sub has an 18" woofer to provide bass frequencies as low as 35Hz. The sub has a 400W continuous (1600W peak) power handling capability to provide a strong, distortion-free performance.
The plywood cabinet has a standard 35mm pole socket for creating stacks or mounting speakers on top. A pair of NL4 Speakon connectors allow you to connect to virtually any professional sound system. The steel grille protects the driver and provides a sleek look. Integrated carrying handles provide convenient transportation.
