The SpectroLED Essential 500IIB Bi-Colour LED Light by Genaray is a 504 LED panel with colour temperature that's variable from tungsten-balanced 3200K to daylight-balanced 5600K or anywhere in between. Instead applying filters, you can match other light sources, ambient light conditions, or just use colour creatively with a simple twist of a knob. The fixture's high CRI/TLCI ratings of 96 are indicators of impressive accuracy in colour rendering. Light intensity is adjustable too, from 0 to 100% without flicker, allowing shooting at high frame rates for slow motion.
The SpectroLED Essential 500IIB offers a 60° flood beam spread for adequate coverage with enough punch for long-throw work. The 13.6 x 9.25 x 2.8" panel weighs just 2.8 lb, and with its slim profile it can be placed in areas that traditional fixtures just can't go. Another benefit of using LEDs is low power draw, and although the 500IIB consumes just 40W of power, it outputs many times that number, providing impressive output for your work. For a larger array with more power Genaray has included cold shoe mounts to allow you to stack up to 3 units for triple the power.
Yet another example of the light's versatility is its power options. The 500IIB is ready for worldwide use thanks to the included 100 to 240 VAC adapter, but the fixture also has two ports that accept separately-purchased NP-F-type batteries for situations where mains power is unavailable.
Features
