The Gitzo Series 1 ultra-compact, 4-section Traveler carbon fibre tripod kit features a 180° leg-folding system pioneered by Gitzo that enables its legs to reverse-fold around the centre column, allowing it to fold down to 43 cm. The GK1545T-RT weighs 1.45 Kg extends to a height of 165 cm and holds up to 8 kg of gear. With its included short centre column inserted, the tripod can get down to 32 cm for low-angle or macro shots. The tripod’s legs are made of Carbon eXact tubing for superior strength and stiffness in a slimmer size and feature the “Traveler G-lock” - a travel-size version of Gitzo’s G-lock, specifically designed to ensure security in reduced size. Its specially designed compact rubber feet can easily be replaced if necessary.

The special Centre Ball Head features independent pan and tilt lock with friction control. It provides uncompromising ball smoothness and is made of high-quality, high-resistance aluminium components. The Ball Head is supplied with a short, Arca-Swiss compatible plate. Its plate is kept locked with a screw-knob and a bubble level helps photographers keep a straight horizon.
