The black iGlide II Handheld Camera Stabiliser from Glidecam is a lightweight, aluminium, handheld camera stabilising system that supports compact, low-profile cameras weighing up to 1.36 kg. This system comprises a camera mounting platform, a telescopic post with three-axis gimbal and foam-padded handle grip, and a base platform. Fluid tilts and pans, crane-like booms, dolly-type manoeuvres, and the ability to shoot smooth shots from moving vehicles are all easily accomplished with the iGlide II Stabiliser. The upper camera mounting platform comes with four steel head weight plates that allow you to stabilise the balance of the system when using lightweight cameras. It features 1/4" mounting holes for camera attachment.
The telescopic post extends from 30 to 40 cm. The offset gimballed handle-grip and enclosed bearing assembly allow your hand to move freely in several directions, while the horizontal yoke allows your hand and arm to move up and down, alleviating the bouncing, pogo-type movement. The precision, three-axis gimbal features full convergence controls for total accuracy. The base platform is a flat base that accepts eight large and four small counterweight discs (included) and also serves as a stand. It also features one 1/4" mounting hole for attaching an optional LCD monitor.
