The IRIX Edge 62mm ND8 Neutral Density 0.9 Filter (3-Stop) is a full Neutral Density filter; its entire surface is responsible for the reduction of light. This kind of filter allows us to extend the exposure time without changing the other parameters of the camera. This filter has an optical density of 0.9 and reduces incoming light by 3-stops, allowing more controlled image blur and depth of field manipulation.
This optical glass filter has a waterproof and oil-repellent NANO coating to prevent stains and fingerprints. The low-profile frames and knurled edges provide very good grip and functionality with a reduced potential for vignetting with wide-angle lenses.
