The Ikan PT4900 19" PTZ Teleprompter, Pedestal, Dolly & OTTICA NDI HX PTZ Camera Kit is a professional solution for tele-prompting with PTZ cameras. The package provides an extra-wide hood assembly to allow considerable movement of the camera within the wide beam splitter glass. The PTZ Teleprompter features a 19″ 1000 cd/m² monitor, 70/30 20″-wide beamsplitter glass, and a 7.6m reading range. The teleprompter is designed for use with a wide range of PTZ cameras, as the wide beamsplitter provides for a wide amount of left-right panning. The teleprompter includes a base system that can be easily shifted forward and backwards, which enables mounting the camera to the prompter without requiring counterweights.
The Ikan PTZ Teleprompter system is a unique PTZ tele-prompting system that enables the PTZ camera’s pan, tilt and zoom capabilities while still behind the reflective teleprompter glass. You can easily pan the camera between multiple people reading from the same script.
The PTZ teleprompter features a lightweight hood that fully encloses the PTZ camera, which allows it’s movement to remain unconstrained. The hood includes an opening in the back that gives you quick access to the PTZ cameras inputs and outputs. The opening can be closed with a drawstring which removes the possibility of any light leaks.
The high quality 70/30 Made-in-America teleprompter glass provides the perfect balance of reflection and pass-through without distorting the image. With 1000 nits the prompting image will always be crisp and visible whether you’re under the sun or studio lighting.
The OTTICA™ PTZ Video Camera from Ikan features a 1/2.8″ CMOS sensor and 5.5-110mm varifocal lens with 20x zoom to capture videos at a maximum resolution of 1080p at 60fps. It supports POE (802.3af), HDMI, SDI, Ethernet (NDI|HX), RS-232, RS-485, and audio-in connectivity. The camera uses a step drive motor mechanism and motor drive controller for smooth and noiseless PTZ operation. In addition, it supports H.264/H.265 video compression and AAC, MP3, and G.711A audio compression formats.
Advanced ISP processing algorithms provide vivid images with a strong sense of depth, high resolution, and fantastic color rendition. The OTTICA supports H.265/H.264 encoding which makes motion video fluent and clear even with less than ideal bandwidth conditions. A full-bandwidth NDI 1080p x60 fps video data stream uses approximately 100Mbps, whereas a video data stream using NDI|HX will only require around 10Mbps (approximately 1/10th of full-bandwidth NDI). Using NDI|HX will expand the camera’s compatibility with different types of network options.
