The Lewitt DGT 650 USB is a USB microphone, a USB interface, an analogue preamp for Hi-Z or line-level instruments, and a whole lot more. With its MIDI input, micro-USB charging port, built-in cables, and iOS compatibility, the DGT 650 is a multi-tool solution for home audio recording.
As a USB microphone, it can be used for recording directly to mobile devices and supports ASIO for Windows and OS X Core audio. It features a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, and can be powered by a built-in lithium-ion battery. In addition, it is built with a headphone output, analogue preamp, two condenser capsules, switchable high-pass filter, two pre-attenuation settings, and four different recording modes.
In stereo mode, the two condenser capsules provide a 90° XY stereo signal. Cardioid mode offers a polar pattern for recording speech or singing. The stereo line-level input makes it possible to record two-channel audio from a mixer or other line source. With a dynamic range of 110 dB-A and 24-bit resolution, this tool is suitable for many applications for recording vocals, instruments, and a lot more.
