The Lexar 2TB Professional Workflow Portable SSD is designed to work in conjunction with the Professional Workflow Docking Station and Workflow Go through its USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface, boasting speeds of up to 20 Gb/s. However, it can also be used independently with the included USB-C to USB-C cable and USB-C to USB-A adapter. This SSD comes preformatted in exFAT, making it compatible with Windows, Mac, and Android operating systems. It offers IP68 protection against water and dust, drop protection of up to 9.8 feet, AES 256-bit encryption, bus power, and a scratch-resistant aluminium finish.
When paired with the Lexar Professional Workflow system, data transfers can reach speeds of up to 1050 MB/s. When utilized as a standalone device, data transfer speeds can go up to 2000 MB/s. It is important to note that in order to achieve the maximum advertised speeds, it is necessary for your computer or host device to support the 20 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 connection. Apple devices, even those with Thunderbolt/USB4, do not support this connection and will be capped at 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds.
