Neutrik's Mono 1/4" MIL-Plug (MIL-P-642/4) has a black metal housing and brass contacts and features similar construction as the standard Neutrik phone plugs with chuck type strain relief and a slim-line metal barrel to meet the high requirements for military communication equipment. This plug is not compatible with standard 1/4" jacks (acc. EIA RS453) and patch panels.
