The Pelican 7060 Rechargeable LED Flashlight from Pelican was developed in conjunction with the Los Angeles Police Department to produce a functional and practical, every-day carry light. This 164 lumen maximum output LED light features dual-activation switching that lets the user hold it several ways and still have instant access to a switch. With tailcap and body switches, its unique 3-way switching circuitry enables the user to turn the light on with one switch and off with another. Press either button for momentary activation, click either button for constant-on. Click any button to return to off. This versatile functionality lets the user hold and use the light at their side with a full grip, or in a tactical flashlight/pistol grip, depending on the situation.
Constructed of temperature, corrosion and impact-resistant Xenoy polymer, the light stays a comfortable temperature in any environment, and will stand up to the rigours of everyday use. Utilising Pelican's anti-roll octagonal design, the light can be placed on inclined surfaces and will stay in place. The body has a textured surface, with a deeply moulded handle to provide a secure grip in cold or wet conditions, or when wearing gloves.
