The NZ Garden Bird Photography Competition is Back!

We’re buzzing to announce the return of the NZ Garden Bird Photography Competition — and this year, it’s bigger than ever! We’ve once again teamed up with OM SYSTEM Cameras to support the annual NZ Garden Bird Survey, and we’re giving away over $2500 worth of gear to two lucky photographers. Whether you’re a seasoned birdwatcher or just love snapping wildlife from your backyard, this is your chance to showcase your skills and support a great cause.

How to Enter - It’s super simple:

- Post your best photo of a New Zealand garden bird to Instagram

- Use the hashtag #nzgardenbirdsurvey

Terms & Conditions:
- Open to New Zealand residents only.
- One entry per person. Multiple photos may be posted, but only the first eligible entry will be considered.
- Entries must be submitted between 28 June – 12 July 2025.
- Previous winning entries of the same image will not be eligible.
- Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
- Winners will be contacted via Instagram DM and must respond within 5 days to claim their prize.
- Rubber Monkey and OM SYSTEM reserve the right to use submitted images for promotional purposes (with credit).
