Really Right Stuff BSL L-Plate Set for Leica SL

Description

Dedicated to the Leica SL (Typ 601) mirrorless camera, the BSL L-Plate Set from Really Right Stuff is an Arca-type compatible plate that facilitates easier, more stable switching between horizontal and vertical shooting orientations when working atop a tripod. The L-shape of the plate also benefits shooting in vertical orientation with panorama nodal slides, for maintaining a consistent nodal point, and shooting in horizontal orientation with side-mount gimbal heads.

This plate set features a modular two-piece design that includes both the dedicated base plate and an L-component, which combine to form a dedicated L-plate. This versatile configuration offers the same support as a one-piece L-plate, with the added ability to remove the L-component for a slimmer overall profile, or to slide the L-component to the side for easier access to the camera's side ports. The custom-fit design also maintains full access to the battery door and features two Quick Disconnect (QD) mounting system points for attaching a strap. Additionally, the CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminium construction is finished with a Type II black anodising, a 1/4"-20 threaded mounting socket is featured on the base, the included hex key can be magnetically stored on the plate's base, and laser-engraved centre marks are placed on both axes for easy alignment.
