The Base Plate for Olympus OM-D E-M1X from Really Right Stuff is designed with Arca-type dovetails to add quick release functionality and anti-twist flanges to keep your camera from twisting while mounted on the plate. Also, located on the bottom of the plate, an integrated quick-disconnect socket is found for the QD strap system, and a lug for a hand strap has been machined on the side.
The CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminium plate maintains complete access to the battery door, and the plate has an option for an available L-component that will fit the plate's modular design and make a custom-fit L-plate. The base plate has a durable Type II anodised finish and a laser-engraved centre mark on the back to align it on a tripod head.
