Like most ribbon microphones, the R-122V features a figure 8 polar pattern for flexible microphone positioning. The output stage electronics are built around a JAN mil-spec 5840W vacuum tube for incredible warmth, rich detail and high output gain. A dedicated power supply is included for powering the tube.
