Ruggard Desiccant Silica Gel Pack - Metal Case (40 g)

This 40 g Desiccant Silica Gel Pack from Ruggard is used to absorb moisture inside underwater camera and electronics housings and bags, in order to keep them as dry as possible to prevent rust, corrosion and other damage, as well as mildew, mould and foul odours. It protects 3 cubic ft of enclosed space. The dehumidifier gel is orange and turns white when it absorbs moisture. It is packaged in a metal tin that can be heated in an oven at 148.9°C for at least 3 hr, or until the colour returns to the silica beads, to refresh the gel for reuse. The gel will turn orange again when it is ready.
