It's simple mechanical design promotes sharp focus and a smooth-action focus ring with "Near" and "Far" markings to assist in finding focus. The aperture adjustment ring also provides markings indicating which aperture shape you are setting. A built-in lens hood provides a 37mm filter thread diameter.
