The Active-1 offers four input sources (3 x stereo analog and 1 x USB) and three stereo analog outputs plus USB, providing seamless A/B switching between input signals and output speaker selections.
The active circuitry provides low-noise operation when boosting or attenuating signals and offers clean, transparent audio with minimal coloration or artifacts. The Active-1 provides a foot-switch activated talkback microphone, LED level metering, and a switch-selectable -10/+4 dB input stage. The bus-powered USB interface allows for direct recording and playback when using a computer DAW. The USB output mirrors the signal appearing at the analog 2-Track outputs, while the computer's L/R output feeds the USB in. The Active-1 ships with an AC power adapter.
