The UM1/77 Videographer Combo Pack Wireless System from Samson is designed to provide commercial videographers, and corporate and broadcast video professionals with both handheld and hands-free wireless miking options. It includes the camera-mountable UM1 wireless Micro receiver, the CT7 beltpack transmitter with an LM5 omnidirectional lavalier mic, an HT7 handheld transmitter with a Q7 supercardioid capsule, a mini-XLR to XLR cable, a 1/8" TRS cable, a stand clip, a hook-and-loop fastener mounting strip, and a foam-lined hardshell carry case. The combo pack is tuned to Samson's N2 frequency band and operates on 642.875 MHz.
The UM1 receiver features true diversity reception and has a balanced mini-XLR and an unbalanced 1/8" TRS output that can be switched between mic and line level for connecting to a variety of recording destinations. Both the CT7 beltpack transmitter and the HT7 handheld have separate on/off and mute switches in addition to variable gain control. The system operates within a 300-foot line-of-sight range and allows you to select the appropriate transmitter for a given application.
