This SmallRig Full Cage for Sony a1 and a7S III is designed to provide protection and accessory mounting points especially for video shooting. It secures to the camera via one 1/4"-20 screw on the bottom and one M2.5 screw on the side to prevent twisting. Featuring multiple 1/4”-20 threaded holes which allow to mount a wide range of accessories.
Its top features a cold shoe mount to attach microphone or LED light. Built-in ARRI 3/8" -16 locating hole fits select Top Handles and Monitor Mounts. It comes with a NATO rail on the left to attach a Side Handle. The front of the cage features two m4 threaded holes allow mounting Lens Adapter Support 2219 or 1764 to protect lens mount. The cage also features carry strap slots and is equipped with a built in flathead screwdriver/ Allen wrench for easy access. Optional HDMI Cable Clamp for Alpha 7S III and Cable Clamp for Alpha 1 is separately available to protect HDMI port. Featuring rubber cushions inside the cage to provide full protection of camera.
