This enclosure is designed to accommodate up to two Mac mini computers and offers three PCIe Gen3 expansion slots for versatile system upgrades.
The xMac mini (2024+) module supplies dedicated front-facing power buttons, ensuring easy control over your Mac mini systems. Convenient cut-out slots grant direct access to the Mac mini’s front ports, while a cable passthrough is provided so you can easily connect devices to the rear ports. Additionally, a USB-C passthrough port is featured, allowing a simple connection to a rear-mounted Mac mini. Rear connectivity is accessible through the module’s back panel, and the compartment beneath the computers is spacious enough for two external SSDs, available separately.
The Echo III Expansion Module supports up to three non-GPU expansion cards, which are sold separately. These cards can be connected to your Mac mini through either of its two Thunderbolt 3 ports, each supporting speeds of up to 40 Gb/s. For optimal performance, a built-in 400W power supply delivers robust power, while two Noctua fans ensure efficient cooling for the entire enclosure.
Included in the package are adjustable extension rails compatible with racks from 16" to 24" deep, a Thunderbolt 3 cable, and a ThunderLok 3 retainer clip for secure cable management, rounding out this comprehensive rackmount solution.
