The Strut STR-DR60D Field Case is custom designed to house the Tascam DR-60D and DR-60D MKII portable recorders. The case provides full access to all controls and connections, as well as protection from weather and dust. It also comes with a lightweight, adjustable chest harness for added convenience and comfort, allowing hands-free operation without adding weight and bulk to the camera or rig.
The Strut STR-DR60D has a clear vinyl cover, for dust or rain protection, which rolls out of the way when not needed. Battery changes are easy, and the case includes a pocket and cabling options for the Tascam BP-6AA battery pack. The case offers "connection protection" to seal out dust and moisture, and help secure and control XLR cables. The case gives access to the DR-60D's bottom 1/4"-20 mounting threads; allowing the recorder to be mounted on a stand or in a rig next to the camera, while still in the case. The STR-DR60D is made of 1000D coated Cordura and only weighs 99 g.
