Description
The StudioLogic SL73 Studio is a portable, 73-key, hammer-action USB/MIDI keyboard controller that is part of the company's SL line of controllers. It offers a compact package while delivering a piano-like playing experience. The controller features Fatar TP/100LR fully weighted keybed technology with a triple-switch detection system on each key and aftertouch information, providing pianists with an expressive instrument that offers versatile touch and playability for both stage and studio applications.
Designed for gigging musicians, the SL73 Studio is lightweight at 25.3 lb. It is equipped with a rugged, full-metal casing and sculptured endcaps that not only help protect the keybed but also provide a secure grip when handling and transporting. The user-friendly front panel features a large TFT LCD colour display located at the centre, making it easily readable in low-light environments. The intuitive layout includes an encoder knob for quick navigation through all functions. Additionally, the controller features three programmable stick controllers that allow for direct control and manipulation of sound parameters during live performances.
To fully optimize the instrument, the SL Editor software is available as a free download for Mac and Windows computers. With this software, users can edit all available parameters on the SL73 Studio via USB. It allows for the programming of keyboard feel using soft, medium, hard, or custom velocity curves. The software also offers a database and backup system to help users maintain and organize their projects.
The SL73 Studio package includes a PS100 switch pedal and a power adapter.
