The Synology RackStation RS822+ 4-Bay NAS Enclosure is a compact 1 RU chassis that houses a 4-bay rackmount NAS. It is designed for data backup, sharing, and synchronisation, making it an ideal choice for branch offices and small- to medium-sized businesses with growing data management needs. With sequential read speeds of up to 2103 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 1074 MB/s, this NAS delivers impressive performance. The four drive bays support various types of hard drives and SSDs, and if additional capacity is required, users have the option to add the RX418 expansion unit with four drive bays. The RackStation RS822+ is powered by a 2.2 GHz AMD Ryzen V1500B quad-core processor and 2GB of DDR4 ECC RAM, which can be upgraded to 32GB.
