This bottom plate is compatible with the Tiltaing Camera Cage for Canon 5D/7D. It is used specifically for the Canon 5D Mark III and 5D Mark IV because due to their slightly taller vertical dimensions, the bottom plate that is used for them needs to be slightly smaller than the quick release bottom plate that comes packed in with the camera cage in order for the 5D Mark III and Mark IV to fit properly.
