This bottom plate is compatible with the Tiltaing Camera Cage for Canon 5D/7D. It is used specifically for the Canon 7D Mark II because due to it’s slightly shorter vertical dimensions, the bottom plate that is used for them needs to be slightly larger than the quick release bottom plate that comes packed in with the camera cage in order for the 7D Mark II to fit properly.
