The Tram TR50 Omni-Lavalier Microphone is a small lavalier microphone designed for professional sound recordists in various industries such as TV, film, broadcast, and videography. This black microphone delivers clear speech and dialogue with a natural sound that blends well with boom microphones.
Featuring an omnidirectional polar pattern, the TR50 captures sound from all directions, ensuring consistent levels even if the talent turns away from the microphone. Its flat, upward facing design allows for easy concealment and helps reduce clothing and rustling noises.
With a frequency response ranging from 40 Hz to 16 kHz, the TR50 offers added clarity with minimal sound coloration, making it ideal for applications where the microphone needs to be hidden behind clothing or fabric. The microphone is suitable for wireless setups and comes with a 4.5' cable available in different connectors for direct integration with bodypack transmitters. This particular version of the TR50 is equipped with a TA5F connector wired for Lectrosonics transmitters and other compatible devices.
In addition to wireless use, the TR50 can also be used for wired XLR applications by plugging it into the TR79+ power supply (included).
