The 815 Video Head with Flat Base is a two-way tripod head for video applications. If features a flat base and can be attached directly to tripods, monopods, slider dollies, or any other type of camera support equipment with a 3/8" screw.
The head is optimised for loads up to 1.5 kg, but can safely support cameras weighing up to 2 kg. It can pan 360°, can tilt forward 90°, and can tilt back 65°. The pan handle can be attached to either side of the head for left- or right-handed operation.
A sliding quick release plate comes with it and features a 1/4"-20 screw as well as a VHS pin to help keep the camera aligned correctly. The VHS pin can be depressed or removed for smaller camcorders and DSLRs that cannot use it.
