The Sony HD Optical Multiplex Unit for BRC-Z330 allows the BRC-Z330 HD camera to transmit error-free uncompressed digital data via the CCFC-S200 single-mode fibre-optic cable up to a distance of 2 km. Equipped with 2 interface card slots, the unit supports up to 7 slave devices using the daisy-chain technique via a VISCA connection. The external sync input allows the output of master and slave devices to be timed to a common reference
