The Uni-Daptor Binocular Tripod Adapter from Vortex is a lightweight and rugged quick release tripod mount. It's slim form-factor is unobtrusive, and the clever design allows the Uni-Daptor to stay in place when hand-holding the binocular.A pin in the Uni-Daptor's shaft mates with a corresponding notch in the Uni-Daptor's base to maintain the binocular's viewing angle. The binocular/Uni-Daptor assembly can be removed from the base for hand-held viewing and then returned to the tripod for extended periods of highly-stabilised observation.
