Description
The Western Digital My Cloud EX2 Ultra 2-Bay Personal Cloud Storage Server is equipped with a 1.3 GHz Marvell ARMADA dual-core processor, offering efficient file management and distribution across various platforms. To ensure smooth multitasking, the server is backed by 1GB of DDR3 RAM. With no drives included, users have the flexibility to select the ideal drives for their storage requirements, configuring them in RAID 0 for improved performance, RAID 1 for redundancy, JBOD, or spanning.
WD provides an array of features to simplify content management and streaming directly from the My Cloud EX2 Ultra. Through the My Cloud app and MyCloud.com, files can be accessed and managed remotely from a computer, Android, or iOS device. WD Sync facilitates seamless media syncing across multiple devices, ensuring constant data backup. Additionally, the EX2 Ultra supports the Plex Media Server application, enabling content streaming on mobile devices, game consoles, and more. Moreover, the server extends its capabilities through third-party app support, offering a diverse range of applications to cater to different user needs. This My Cloud EX2 package includes an Ethernet cable, a power adapter, and Milestone Arcus Surveillance software with unlimited camera licenses.
