The Wooden Camera 148400 NATO Cage with 15mm Studio Bridgeplate turns the RED Epic and Scarlet cameras into production-ready tools. This NATO cage includes an Easy Top X top plate, the Easy Riser, a Bridgeplate (15mm Studio), and 4 Safety Arms. This cage features arrays of mounting holes in RED standard spacing and provides for 15mm studio offset rods at correct lens height.
The Easy Top X is a top plate that features arrays of 1/4-20 holes in RED spacing and multiple 3/8-16 holes for large accessories. The removable Link Cover is used when the longest REDmote range is required. The Easy Top X comes with two 1/4-20 x 1/2" & four m4 x 12mm screws.
The Easy Riser shim plate combines with bridgeplate (19mm and 15mm studio) or original AET baseplates for rod support at the correct lens height. Two sets of mounting holes allow the camera to be positioned toward the front of the baseplate.
The Easy Riser plate combines with the included LW 15mm Bracket to allow attachment of lightweight rods at the correct lens height. It comes with 2 captured 3/8-16 riser screws.
The ARRI style 15mm Studio Bridgeplate has 0.59” (15mm) studio offset spacing (rods spaced 100mm centre to centre). It sports a solid body and rod clamp construction. The Bridgeplate combines with the Universal Baseplate to achieve the correct lens height on the camera. The bridgeplate can be used with the Easy Riser to achieve the correct lens height on RED Epic and Scarlet cameras. This bridgeplate comes with 2 riser screws.
The 4 Safety Arms are NATO standard mounting arms for RED Epic and Scarlet and easily attaches to the Easy Top X and Easy Riser to expand mounting surface for accessories. Spring loaded pins on each end prevent accidental accessory removal. These arms are compatible with VF top and bottom plates and come with 2 1/4-20 x 1/2" screws.
