The Fixed Kit for Panasonic GH4 and YAGH Interface Unit from Wooden Camera prepares your camera for professional video applications by providing a cage, 15mm rod bracket, and quick-release NATO top handle kit. Designed for use with the Panasonic GH4 with attached YAGH Interface Unit, the Fixed Kit provides a versatile foundation for adding the camera accessories that suit your needs.
The cage expands the accessory mounting capabilities of the GH4 with attached YAGH Interface Unit, while maintaining a minimalist design that doesn't block access to controls. It attaches via one 3/8"-16 and one 1/4"-20 screw on the bottom and a hot shoe pinch on top, and features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded accessory holes along the top and left side of the cage. The 15mm rod bracket attaches to the front of the camera base, providing support for LWS 15mm rods with the correct lens height for use with a matte box. When rear 15mm rods are needed, the optional 15mm Rod Clamp is available.
The NATO quick-release top handle attaches to the top of the cage via an included 2.76" NATO rail. Once the rail is mounted onto the cage, the top handle slides on and off the rail, locking into place with a thumbscrew. The top handle features a variety of accessory mounting options, including an integrated 15mm rod clamp, great for attaching an optional monitor/EVF support bracket such as the UVF Mount v2. A forward facing 15mm rod opening and 19mm rear rod opening are available for attaching single rods, which can be used for mounting accessories such as focus motors. An integrated shoe mount is also provided, as well as 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes on the grip area. Lastly, 1/4"-20 holes on the handle front let you attached optional rod clamps for adding rods to the top of your rig.
The Fixed Kit is built to the proper height for attaching to 19mm and studio 15mm Wooden Camera bridgeplates. When studio rods are not needed, an optional dovetail clamp can be added to interface with a 2060 dovetails, safety dovetails, or shoulder rigs.
