Side Plate (Alexa Mini) attaches to the side of the Unified Cage (Alexa Mini + LW) and the legacy Quick Cage and Fixed Cage (Alexa Mini). It attaches by two 1/4-20 screws on top plate and two 1/4-20 screws on the baseplate making it extremely secure. Arrays of 1/4-20 holes in standard spacing and multiple 3/8-16 holes for large accessories. ARRI accessory mount also available in several places (3/8-16 screw hole with locating pins adjacent). Hole patterns for V-Mount and Gold Mount plates also available in upright and upside down positions making it great for gimbal configurations.
The side piece also features a NATO standard accessory rail with spring loaded safety pins on each end to prevent accidental removal. The NATO rail also feature 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 holes.
