The XKR-32 Rack-Mounted Keys from X-Keys sports thirty-two programmable keys that can be used to trigger macros, shortcuts, and applications as well as select tools or open files or directories. The keys come with transparent key caps that you can label with the included legend sheets. Each key is backlit with blue and red LEDs, so you can view them in darkened environments. The XKR-32 connects to your system via a wired USB 2.0 cable. Once connected, you can programme each key with free downloadable programming software and development kits.
The XKR-32 is mounted into your rack cabinet and occupies 1U of space. For compatibility, P.I. Engineering's Pi3 firmware supports direct communication for the software developer, and X-Keys' reflector feature sends messages to even the most reluctant software. Moreover, non-volatile memory is on board to save your macros and commands for the keys.
