The Z-Riser includes 4.5" female rods and attaches to 15mm lightweight rods with standard 60mm spacing between the rods. It allows you to raise or lower a new set of 15mm rods to accommodate accessories, like a matte box/follow focus. A Z-riser is necessary for the Letus Extreme Adapter and the RED Camera setups where lens height is extremely high.
