The Impact Double Ball Joint Head with Super Clamp and Camera Platform Kit is designed to offer photographers and videographers a camera support option to a traditional tripod.
The Camera Platform has two 5/8" receivers for the head or other accessory with a matching stud. A 1/4"-20 threaded camera stud is pre-installed. The head has two 5/8" studs that can be tilted +/- 180 degrees and rotated 360 degrees. One stud has a 1/4"-20 tap and the other a 3/8"-16 tap for stands and accessories that have matching screws. The studs fit into a wide variety of grip gear with 5/8" receivers such as the included Impact Super Clamp that allows you mount to supports and poles from 0.5 - 2.1" thick. Once in position you can lock the head into place with its large ratcheting handle. The system will support cameras up to 2.3 kg.
