The Lensbaby Composer Pro with Edge 80 Optic is a selective focus optical system featuring a Composer Pro with an Edge 80 Optic. This model is designed for use with Canon EF mount DSLR cameras. The Composer Pro allows for tilt/shift effects for selective focus on the scene. The enhanced ball and socket joint tilts up to 17.5° and retains its position once set. It also features a smooth focusing ring for ensuring sharp images. Additionally, with the ability to swap out optics, many different effects can be achieved.
The included Edge 80 Optic features multi-coated glass with a focal length of 80mm and a flat field of focus. This means that when no tilt is applied, the lens will operate as a standard 80mm lens. However, when tilted it will provide a thin slice of focus through the image. It also features a 12-bladed aperture with a range of f/2.8-22 and a macro function allowing a minimum focusing distance of 17".
