The Tiffen 127mm Warm Linear Polarising Filter is a single filter combining two filters - A Polariser and an 812 Warming Filter.
Light rays which are reflected become polarised. Polarising filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. They can remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass and also saturate colours providing better contrast.
The effect can be seen through the viewfinder and changed by rotating the filter. The filter factor varies according to how the filter is rotated and its orientation to the sun.
A Tiffen 812 Warming Filter gives you a warming effect which improves skin tones. Note: Linear polarisers are used with most video and manual focus photo cameras. They are not recommended for auto-focus SLR cameras.
Circular Polarising Filter
- This filter eliminates ultraviolet rays to remove haze from outdoor shots as well as polarising the light to remove reflections, and increase colour saturation, without affecting the overall colour balance
812 Warming Filter
- Improves skin tones and is ideal for portraits taken on a cloudy day or outdoors in shade on a sunny day
