The Rycote Standard Hole Smoothie - Blackberry is a slip-on 2-part foam cavity windshield designed to eliminate wind noise and accommodate field audio microphones such as shotguns and stereo microphone. The Smoothie provides noise reduction of up to 22dB and is available in various lengths and diameters in order to accommodate a variety of microphones. This windshield will fit microphones measuring 21/22mm in diameter and 14cm in length.
Smoothie windshields can be shock-mounted using either the Softie Lyre Mount or the on-camera InVision™ Video Mount. Because of they’re smooth nature, Smoothies are often preferred, as they’re less obtrusive. For applications requiring increased wind protection the removable Windjammer™ are available, extending product versatility.
Suitable for - shotgun microphones, with slots no further than 14 cm from the front of the mic.
