The Rycote Windshield Extension 1 (70mm) is designed to extend the Rycote Modular Windshield 4 by 70 mm. The Modular Extension increases the size of the Modular Windshield allowing use with longer microphones. The system is devised of the main body, including the windshield's mid-section and 2 end caps.
The Windshield body and Extensions are available in different sizes and are identified with a numerical designation (1 through 4). Combinations of specific windshield and extension models are necessary to meet the size requirements for certain microphone lengths.
