This SmallRig Standard Cage Kit includes SmallRig's lightweight a7S III cage and an HDMI cable clamp.
The cage locks the camera firmly in place via one 1/4”-20 screw on the bottom and one M2.5 screw on the side. It features multiple standard mounting points and gives you full access to all the camera's ports and the battery door. In addition to multiple 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16 threaded holes and shoulder strap holes, the cage also comes with standard NATO rails and cold shoe mounts. You can mount accessories on the cage such as SmallRig Monitor Mount, microphones, side handles, etc.
The cage is made of magnesium-aluminium alloy, reducing the weight by 40% compared to a traditional cage. To protect the camera's HDMI cable from being accidental disconnection, the cage is equipped with an HDMI cable clamp, which can be attached to the side of the cage via a 1/4"-20 thumbscrew, and the locking part is adjustable. In addition, a convenient assembly tool attaches to the bottom of the cage magnetically.
Note: Please remove the camera strap ring on the side of the camera first and then screw in the 1/4”-20 screw and the M2.5 screw.
