The Symply PRO XTF Full Height Archiving Drive is housed in a sturdy metal alloy enclosure that combines durability with style. Its compact design is complemented by a premium whisper quiet fan and power supply, ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free performance. This desktop model is equipped with two Thunderbolt 3 ports for daisy-chaining, one of which supports 60W fast device charging. Additionally, the SymplyPRO LTO-XTF desktop includes SAS expansion and SAS host connections, providing the flexibility to connect other SAS devices to your Thunderbolt computer or use it with a non-Thunderbolt enabled workstation. With a single full-height LTO-9 tape drive boasting speeds of up to 400 MB/sec, the SymplyPRO LTO-XTF offers impressive performance.

One of the key features of the SymplyPRO LTO-XTF is its support for the Linear Tape File System (LTFS). This user-friendly system allows for simple drag-and-drop file operations, similar to a traditional hard drive. By utilising LTFS, the need for backup or archive software can be reduced, and data can be easily transferred to and from LTO cartridges or other storage devices like HDDs or SSDs. Additionally, this LTO drive has been certified for use with popular backup and archive utilities for both macOS and Windows, including YoYotta, Hedge Canister, XenData, and Archiware P5.
