Description

The Lanparte Professional DSLR Kit V1 provides you with a fully loaded 15mm rod support rig for DSLR and mirrorless cameras. The rig is built around a 15mm rod bridge plate and a C-shaped support arm, with a pair of 11.8" long rods provided to support an included follow focus and matte box. For shoulder-mounted configurations, the kit comes with an adjustable dual handgrip system, a padded shoulder support, and a basic 7" HDMI monitor for framing and focusing your shots. The monitor is mounted to the top of the rig using an adjustable Magic Arm EVF/monitor mount. Rounding out the kit is a 150Wh V-mount lithium-ion battery and a V-mount power adapter plate. A LP-E6 dummy battery pack lets you power select Canon cameras like the 5D and 7D. When not in use, the key components of the rig can be safely stored inside a hard protection case with custom pre-cut foam interior.

Your camera attaches to the bridge plate via a 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 screw. It offers 1.6" of height adjustment and features a quick-release camera plate for easy removal of your camera from the rig. The C-shaped support arm is also height adjustable and can swing open to the side when changing lenses. It mounts onto the rods included with the bridge plate and provides additional 15mm rod clamps at the top for adding an included top handle via a pair of 7.8" rods. In addition to the top handle, rods on top of the rig are useful for attaching the Magic Arm when you want to use the 7" HDMI monitor.

The included matte box fits lenses with a maximum front outer diameter of 100mm. It features two rotating 4 x 4" filter stages and incorporates a swing-away design for rapid lens changes. Removable top and side flags are included to block unwanted light from hitting your lens. Other accessories that mount in front of the camera are the Universal Grip V2 and follow focus, which both utilise a clamping design that lets you attach them to the 15mm rods without having to remove the matte box. The follow focus features integrated A and B hard stops that let you set start/end points on DSLR lenses with continuously rotating focus rings. The follow focus features a 0.8 pitch drive gear, which can be positioned on either side of the gearbox. For use with DSLR lenses that lack an integrated focus gear rings, an adjustable gear ring comes included.

The V-mount battery adapter plate can be mounted on 15mm rods or directly on top of the shoulder support. It features a V-mount for attaching the included 150Wh lithium-ion battery and provides DC outputs with different voltages (5, 7.2, 12, and 15V). The battery can be recharged using the AC power adapter included with the Battery Pinch. To power a Canon 5D, 7D, 60D, or other select Canon DSLRs from the adapter plate, an LP-E6 dummy battery is included. Additionally, the Battery Pinch has a built-in HDMI splitter. A 25" HDMI to mini HDMI with right-angle connector cable is provided for sending your camera output to the splitter input, and 39" and 59" HDMI cables are provided for outputting the signal to two different devices from the splitter.

The Lanparte Universal Grip V2 is an adjustable dual handle system for 15mm LWS rod support rigs. Each handle features three points of adjustment, letting you position each handgrip at the desired height, angle, and distance from the rods. Silica-gel surface on the handles provide a comfortable, non-slip grip. For easy attachment and removal of the system without having to remove other rod-mounted accessories, the Universal Grip V2 utilises a quick-release 15mm rod clamp, which locks in place using a single lever.

The LanParte MB-01 4x4 Rod-Mounted DSLR Swing-Away Matte Box is a 4 x 4 matte box that fits lenses with a maximum front outer diameter of 100mm. It features ABS plastic and aluminium construction that makes it lightweight. It features two rotating 4 x 4 filter stages and mounts onto lightweight 15mm rods. The matte box incorporates a swing-away design for rapid lens changes. The included 4 x 4 filter trays can slide in the rotating stages, allowing you to adjust their height.

The included removable top and side flags can be precisely set and locked to block stray light from flaring your lens. The included anti-reflection rings protect your image by blocking stray light behind the camera bouncing off of filters in the matte box and flaring your image. In addition, the interior of the matte box is finished with a black anti-reflective coating to reduce reflection off the matte box back onto filters.

The Lanparte Follow Focus V2 clamps onto 15mm LWS rods, allowing you to smoothly and accurately pull focus with cinema and DSLR lenses equipped with gear rings. Its quick release design that lets you easily snap it onto the rods without having to remove other rod-mounted accessories, such as a matte box. Integrated into the follow focus are A and B hard stops, letting you set start/end points on DSLR lenses that have continuously rotating focus rings. Additionally, the follow focus features an ARRI standard accessory port for using optional focus whips and speed cranks. A standard 0.8 pitch gear comes includes, which can be positioned on either side of the gearbox, as well as a removable magnetic marking disc. Also included is an adjustable gear ring for use with DSLR lenses that lack integrated focus gear rings.

The Lanparte Bridge Plate features a height-adjustable baseplate with dual 15mm LWS rod clamps and a quick-release camera plate. The height of the baseplate is adjustable up to 1.6" by loosening a single knob, allowing you to achieve proper lens height when using a matte box or follow focus. A pair of 11.8" long 15mm rods come included.

The quick-release plate features a dovetail design that slides or drops onto the baseplate, locking into place using a release lever. The plate includes 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera screws, with threads on the side of baseplate provided for storing the unused screw. A safety lock prevents the plate from sliding off the baseplate when attached. For mounting on tripods and other equipment, there are 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes on the bottom of the baseplate.

Add more accessories to your camera with the C-Arm from Lanparte . By arching over the top of your camera setup, the C-Arm effectively provides a second set of 15mm rods for attaching useful gadgets such as follow focus motors, articulating arms, recorders, monitors, and more. An integrated shoe-mount can hold a light, a microphone, or other accessory. The top portion folds away from the camera for easier lens changes. To accommodate different camera heights, the top rod section is adjustable to achieve the proper rod-to-optical-centre distance.

The Lanparte Top Handle is designed for camera cages and rigs that use or accept 15mm LWS rods positioned above the camera. It is constructed from CNC machined aluminium and features a dual 15mm rod clamp and a non-slip silica-gel grip. A pair of 7.87" long aluminium rods come included.

Mount a 1/4"-20 accessory to your 15mm LWS rig with the Lanparte Magic Arm and gain the flexibility to fit it in nearly any orientation you require. Once you have the accessory positioned, twist the knob to secure the arm, holding your mounted accessory fast.

Carry your rig on your shoulder by incorporating this Shoulder Support from Lanparte . Using dual 15mm clamps, the Shoulder Support secures to 15mm LWS rigs. A riser clamp is included for height adjust-ability. The shoulder pad is arced to comfortably sit on your shoulder for long periods of time. Lightweight Construction

The matte box itself is made out of ABS plastic, with aluminium used for the support structure. This provides a lightweight yet sturdy unit that is appropriate for shooting hand-held or with a stabiliser rig, when every ounce counts.

Swing Away Design

The swing-away design allows you to quickly move the matte box out of the way to cheque or change lenses, without having to remove the matte box from the support rods. This way you don't have to hand off the matte box to someone else, hold it under an arm or between your knees, or hang it under the rods while you work, greatly speeding your workflow and reducing the chance of dropping the matte box or having a filter tray fall out.

Rotating 4 x 4 Filter Trays

The matte box features two independently rotating 4 x 4 filter trays; this allows you to simultaneously rotate two filters, such as one polariser and one graduated filter, or even two graduated filters, for creative effect. The filter stages each rotate 90° and feature a tray locking knob, which allows you to adjust the height of the filter and lock it in place. This is a useful feature when using graduated filters in your matte box. The filter trays feature a centre detent, so you can easily position them exactly in the middle.

Top & Side Flags

• The removable top and side flags provide you additional flare control and attach to the matte box with a lockable hinged assembly. This allows you to precisely set your flags to match the edge of frame for different lenses and lock them in place so that they don't move during the shot.
• Each side flag is made from two pieces with a pivot point that allows you to pivot the outer flap approximately 45° providing additional height so that the side flags can butt up against the top flag when it is in a raised position. The outer flap of the side flags run in a track, and a locking thumb nut allows you to lock the side flags pivot adjustment.

Anti-Reflection Inserts

The four included anti-reflection inserts work with your lenses. They provide a light-tight seal so that light from behind the camera cannot leak through where the lens joins the matte box and reflect off filters to flare your image.
