Olight i5T EOS LED Flashlight (Stardust)

Description

Ideally suited as a backup, everyday carry (EDC), or keychain light, the Olight i5T EOS LED Flashlight in a stardust motif is a tiny but powerful illumination tool for you.

Its single cool white LED is driven by a ubiquitous AA alkaline battery that outputs a low 15 lumens that is good for rooting through a pack or bag and reading without disturbing others and a high of 300 lumens that will light a tent, get you safely to the loo in the middle of the night, or help you change a tyre. The cool white LED approximates the colour of daylight, making it easier on the eyes than the typical harsh light from conventional LEDs—reducing eyestrain while reading or writing. A single push-button tailcap switch gives you access to both outputs with momentary or constant-on options. For your safety, and any companions you might be with, the light turns on at the low setting by default, so you won't be blinded accidentally.

The housing is made of a lightweight and durable 6061-T6 aluminium alloy that is treated with a scratch-resistant Type III hard-anodised finish with a stardust motif. Olight designed the handle to fit comfortably in your hand with a carved double helical groove to give it a sleek and distinctive style and slip-resistant grip. The housing is further sealed to an IPX8 rating and is drop resistant to almost 5 feet, so it will continue to work if it (or you) take a fall in a puddle or stream. A two-way removable clip lets you carry it on your belt, in a pant or shirt pocket, or even clipped to your cap as a headlight. Measuring just 95.0 long and weighing right around 60.0 g with the battery, there is no reason several i5Ts shouldn't be squirrelled away in your car, junk drawer, console, toolbox, and bug-out bag.
